Just finished reading it tonight, and this one is a keeper, very well done. Not enough adventure stories with mercenaries out there, so this really hits the spot. The Argentinian setting is a fresh take as well.
I just read the first chapter and I’m hooked. I never served (I’m a 62 year old cat lady, so don’t come at me), but I feel the protagonist’s pain about life in the modern civilian world right down to my bones. I worked occasional office jobs in my 20s-30s and you NAILED the soul crushing horror. My max time at any of those jobs was three months before I lost patience and tapped out. I spent most of my adult life doing gigs and odd jobs, mostly in the creative arts, and always felt like a failure because I didn’t have a “real” job. Looking back, I’m glad I never sold my soul to cling to a cubicle. I probably would have driven my truck off a cliff long since. Anyway, looking forward to the first plot point and our MC finding his joy.
Ordered! 🙌🏾

Waiting for my print copy to get here, I downloaded the Kindle sample.
I'm hooked. Can't wait to find out how Ryan ends up in Argentina!
Just bought it. Probably buy a second copy for my writing buddy.
Hell yeah, stoked to hear your review
Ordered, looking forward to it.
